Little Dawgs were helped out in a losing cause by a 30.90 point effort from Marques Colston, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 99 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Colston was the number 1 ranked wide receiver for week 16. They also got help from a 26.90 point effort from Dallas Clark, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 105 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"Turnovers killed us," Little Dawgs coach Joe Reither said.

Causing further embarrassment, Little Dawgs could have scored 140.84 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Joe Reither left key players like Derrick Ward and his corresponding 21.70 points on the bench.

With this performance, Cassel was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 12.30 point effort from Donald Driver, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 63 receiving yards.

"They out-hustled us," Belmont Hoodsters coach Andy McManus said.

Compounding the issue, Belmont Hoodsters could have scored 110.50 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Andy McManus left key players like Heath Miller and his corresponding 17.30 points on the bench.
