| Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable holiday season and start to the new year. I was wondering as many of you have GLFFL experience so might know the set-up--- what's the off-season schedule look like? Our league calandar is blank and there isn't a live link for "additional league rules" working. Just wondering at what time things become open again such as trades, transactions, or the preparation for the rookie/FA draft. In Football matters--what a fun ride my Dolphins provided this year...but clearly they're a few steps short of being a real contender. Pennington looked worse than Favre this week. I tried and tried all year, but just couldn't find myself being a Pennington fan...there's a reason he's been benched over and over. I just don't see him as the "franchize QB" that could win them a title...unless we start getting Defensive players the likes of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. I think Baltimore has a legit shot at AFC title as they play the same hard-nosed football Tennessee and Pittsburgh play. Additionally....shout out to my Alma Mater Alum Kurt Warner (U. of Northern Iowa) for his trancendent re-emergence to football greatness this year and the playoff win. He wins a vote from me for being a HOF entrant someday!! |
